Community newsletters matter. When we all have busy lives, it’s easy for neighbors to feel disconnected. A community newsletter helps change that by keeping everyone informed and involved. It starts conversations, highlights what people care about, and makes it easier to stay engaged.

Now available Online and via Email
The Clunes Community News has a long history. Offering 11 issues a year, the newsletter has been a staple in our community for many years; with countless volunteers having a hand in writing the stories, producing and printing the newsletter, and ensuring the newsletter reaches people. Hardcopies of the newsletter are distributed direct to letter boxes, while spares appear in cafes, the newsagent and post office around town.
At one stage, electronic copies of the newsletter were circulated by email each month by a past Councillor and member of the Clunes Tourist and Development Association. With this in mind, Clunes Neighbourhood House (since becoming responsible for the newsletter earlier this year) has been exploring ways to re-introduce this. It turns out we had a simple way to do it, right here.
Just register at www.clunesnh.org
Visit our website page and scroll down to the bottom of the page, in the left-hand corner. Then you can subscribe to our website and receive the newsletter electronically every month - before it even hits letter boxes. How? We'll email it to you in a blog just like this so you can download it and read it at your leisure.
It's a perfect way to see what's coming up; and a great option for people who don't have mail service. Better yet, for Clunes people who may have moved further afield, it's a fun way to keep in touch.
Why not try it now?
